ID Languages – Full Terms & Conditions for Language Classes
These Terms & Conditions apply to all ID Languages courses, including online and in-house group classes, one-to-one lessons and small-group tuition. By enrolling, students (or parents/guardians) agree to the following.
1. Course Types
These terms cover:
- Group Classes (fixed schedule, set course dates)
- One-to-One & Small Group Classes (individually arranged lesson times)
Different policies apply to each format.
2. Group Classes
2.1 Schedule
Classes run as advertised. Changes only occur when necessary (e.g., teacher illness) or with full group consent.
2.2 Minimum Numbers
Most classes require minimum 5 students. If not reached, the class may be postponed, merged with a suitable group, or refunded in full.
2.3 Attendance
Missed group classes are not refundable, not reschedulable, and not transferable. Courses are purchased as a block, not per class.
2.4 Withdrawal
Withdrawals after the course begins are not refundable. Transfers may be permitted if level-appropriate and non-disruptive.
3. One-to-One & Small Group Lessons
3.1 Scheduling
Lessons are arranged directly with the teacher or office. Teachers may offer flexibility but are not obliged to reschedule.
3.2 Cancellation by Student
Minimum 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule. Less notice results in the class being forfeited. Maximum three reschedules per block.
3.3 Block Validity
Blocks of 10 classes must be completed within 13 weeks unless an extension is approved in advance.
3.4 Cancellation by ID Languages
If ID Languages or the teacher cancels, we will try to reschedule quickly; otherwise, students may choose credit or refund.
3.5 Substitute Teachers
A substitute teacher may be provided for illness, holidays, or unavoidable absences.
3.6 Late Arrival
Lessons finish at the scheduled time even if the student arrives late.
4. Behaviour & Conduct
All students must behave respectfully towards teachers and classmates and participate in activities as requested.
Online Classes:
Cameras should be on unless otherwise agreed.
Students must ensure a suitable learning environment.
Disruption:
Persistent disruptive behaviour may lead to removal from class or the entire course. No refund will be issued.
5. Children & Teens (7+)
A parent/guardian must complete enrolment and give an emergency contact.
ID Languages is responsible for the student only during scheduled class time.
Safe, respectful behaviour is required at all times.
Repeated or serious behavioural issues may lead to removal from the course without refund.
6. Payments, Refunds & Transfers
Payment is required in advance to secure a place.
Group-class non-attendance is not refundable or transferable.
If ID Languages cancels a course due to low numbers, a refund or transfer will be offered.
Transfer requests are considered case by case and allowed only if appropriate for level and group dynamics.
7. Public Holidays & Weather
No classes run on Irish public holidays unless explicitly arranged.
Public-holiday classes are rescheduled.
In severe weather, classes may be moved online or rearranged.
8. Data Protection & Communications (GDPR)
ID Languages processes personal data in accordance with GDPR. Data is used for:

CULTURAL EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
In order to make real life learning possible, when it comes to Spanish, Irish, French or any language that isn’t used in the shops of Bundoran on a daily basis, we like to bring the culture to the classroom.
Once a year, we organise a cultural event where our community can share about different traditions from all around the world. To date, we have had an international food & dance night, Spanish Christmas, a Mexican Day of the Dead and a Celtic Night. If you have any suggestions on what should be next, please do get in touch!
We believe that our students need a minimum of 3 speaking hours per week, in order to make real progress in their learning. That is why we organise weekly language meet ups where our students can practice their language skills. They take place on the last Friday of every month at 8pm, in The Bank Bar Bundoran and we welcome everyone (over 18) who wants to have multilingual chats

INTERNATIONAL FOOD & DANCE EVENT
We learnt flamenco, salsa, Irish dancing, and swing dancing.
We ate great food dishes from different countries around the world. Everyone made something different for the occasion and our two lucky winners from the food competition were Krisztina from Hungary and Bea from Venezuela.
We had dishes from Poland, France, Spain, the USA, Ireland, Mexico, Brazil, Cuba, Italy, India, and Lithuania. Check out our Video!
