Mission‑Based Language Grinds for Teens
ID Languages offers supportive Junior and Leaving Cert grinds in English, Irish, French, Spanish, Italian and German. Your child won’t just memorise lists – they’ll learn by doing. One week they might explore music through Italian, another they’ll debate a topical issue in Spanish, or explore history through Irish.
Studies show that students who learn languages through real content make bigger gains in reading, listening, writing and vocabulary than peers in traditional classes. Using a second language in meaningful contexts also strengthens problem‑solving and critical thinking skills. Regular quizzes and retrieval practice are woven into classes because research shows that taking practice tests significantly improves long‑term exam performance. Senior Cycle & Leaving Cert Prep (ages 15–18)
Our Mission‑Based Grinds for Exam Success align with the Leaving Cert and international exam curricula. Students research global issues, present findings and discuss literature – all in the target language. They build vocabulary, oral fluency and essay‑writing skills through real‑world tasks, while small groups and personalised feedback ensure each learner masters exam strategies.
Oral & Written Exam Booster
Left it a bit late? The Instant Confidence module focuses on oral and written exam preparation. Students practise interviews, take mock exams and receive detailed feedback. Retrieval practice (mock testing) boosts retention and exam performance, while storytelling and cultural projects expand vocabulary and cultural awareness for oral exams.
